retrospiel will once again have a booth at the Retro Gaming Area @ gamescom in Hall 10.2 in 2024!
This means we’ve been a regular part of the Retro Gaming Area at gamescom for 10 years now!
A big thank you to René Meyer from www.schreibfabrik.de and all the volunteers and supporters who made this possible! Without you, the retrospiel booth wouldn’t exist!
Since retrospiel comes from the indie scene, we’ll be showcasing new games for classic consoles again this year!—including the latest titles for the NES, Sega Dreamcast, Neo Geo, Game Boy, and Mega Drive, among others.
While we’re setting up the booth, the store will unfortunately have to remain closed from Monday, August 19, through Wednesday, August 21.
Otherwise, the store will be open during Gamescom from Thursday, August 22, through Saturday, August 24, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM each day.
Work on the online store continues behind the scenes. We hope to finally launch it a few weeks after Gamescom.
