After exactly one week of an unexpected hiatus, the online store is back online! After our hosting provider messed up the server migration, we worked tirelessly for a week to set up and rebuild the online store from scratch. At the same time, we updated to the latest version of the store software.

Under retrospiel.com/store, you can now find the new retrospiel.com online shop with a completely different sortiment to what we have in the street store! You can also order to the shop and pay on site, if you'd like to come take a look anyway. The online shop has about 3500 articles, as to make sure that every taste should be met! We have invested a lot of work hours in building the site and we hope you enjoy browsing our collection!
10 years of retrospiel ! The physical store at 33, Gladbacher Str. is already 10 years old! It has been a rollercoaster of emotions, but I am happy that everything worked out in the end. I met a lot of really cool people and hopefully many more in the years to come. Curious as to what the future holds...
retrospiel will once again have a booth at the Retro Gaming Area @ gamescom in Hall 10.2 in 2024!This means we’ve been a regular part of the Retro Gaming Area at gamescom for 10 years now!A big thank you to René Meyer from www.schreibfabrik.de and all the volunteers and supporters who made this possible! Without you, the retrospiel booth wouldn’t exist! Since retrospiel comes from the indie scene, we’ll be showcasing new games for classic consoles again this year!—including the latest titles for the NES, Sega Dreamcast, Neo Geo, Game Boy, and Mega Drive, among others. While we’re setting up the booth, the store will unfortunately have to remain closed from Monday, August 19, through Wednesday, August 21.Otherwise, the store will be open during Gamescom from Thursday, August 22, through Saturday, August 24, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM each day. Work on the online store continues behind the scenes. We hope to finally launch it a few weeks after Gamescom.
